Eligibility

The following may be nominated to receive a Tasmanian Award for Humanitarian Activities:
  • Individuals and organisations.
  • Those who are Tasmanian based i.e. either currently living in Tasmania or an organisation which is based in Tasmania.
Nominations must be on the official nomination form.

Any nominated activity must be authenticated by two referees or witnesses and by appropriate documentary support.

The documentation must fully describe the nature and extent of the nominee’s activities.

Nominations should be lodged by late October 2008, to:

The Human Rights Week Organising Committee will select award winners, according to the published criteria.
